Description
In the book: 36 poems, 36 musical settings, 25 pictures to color.
Listening to music at bedtime can help little ones to quiet down, relax, and be ready to fall asleep. A regular nightly routine at bedtime adds to the security a child feels. This is not a CD of nursery rhymes. A valuable feature of the CD (and book) is the gently instructive quality of many of the texts. Included are poems which help children recognize themselves as cooperative and friendly members of society, and as loved children of God. The ideas they learn from these poems, which are taken from classic as well as newly written sources, will help broaden their view of their world, and can help them become responsible citizens in it.
The National Federation of Music Clubs, NFMC, has chosen EIGHT songs, starred below, as “required” pieces for NFMC contests.
